Leaning in to the comfortable, coastal vibe, we chosen a heat white for the walls. Encompass by Laminex wall panelling will come pre-primed and prepared to paint – we began off applying paint to all the deep grooves with a paintbrush, before applying two coats of paint with a roller – rolling horizontally in line with the panels.

Then, we went a bit crazy and built our have sofa (!) – with a little support from our close friends at Zenn Style. Gordy developed the couch base with drawers underneath to maximise storage, and Zenn Design and style made the personalized upholstery working with utilizing Warwick Fabrics’ Cheshire Paprika fabric.

We styled the sofa with scatter cushions from Weave, which increase a nice graphic touch, contrasting with the sheer linen curtains, yet again manufactured by Zenn Style and design, working with Warwick Fabrics’ Burano Eggshell linen weave

When the furnishings and curtains had been in, it was time to assume about lights. This space experienced pre-existing downlights, but we were being keen to insert a few much more (dimmable!) mild sources to inject a minor extra atmosphere. We went with a wall mounted reading lamp previously mentioned the sofa (its the Lamp de Marseille by Le Corbusier, which you can get at Cult, while this a person is classic). Over the dining table, we went with the genuinely effectively-priced Dampier Lantern 70 pendant lamp by The Modern society inc, put in great and lower.

A careful edit of occasional home furnishings, artwork and handcrafted objects are the ending touches that comprehensive this seem. I’m so satisfied with how this place turned out! And now… to deal with the relaxation of the home!

Encompass by Laminex is a assortment of modern, pre-primed MDF wall linings, readily available in a terrific array of each typical and contemporary profiles – completely ready to paint. Look at the entire selection in this article, and begin reimagining your area!
